CAN CARBASSERES
Can Carbasseres is an ancient bakery specialist about food crafts products, specially “Coca de llardons” (Pork scratching cake) and “Tortell adobat de Matafaluga” (Roscon cake aniseed).
The “Coca de llardons” is a cake based with pork scratching and pine kernels amongst other products. The “Tortell adobat de Matafaluga” is a round aniseed marinated cake, with a hole in the middle.
Both products and all they elaborate are made with traditional methods. Since 1892, the family has known to keep up the fathers and sons tradition. Today is the fourth generation working in this family business. |
RATAFIA RUSSET
Today managed by fourth-generation family and making “Ratafia” using the traditional methods as years ago, improving processes of soaking, ageing and filting. Other aim is to optimize the gathering and manipulation of the aromatic plants and green walnut, in order to obtain the best liquor.
In 2003 was the year of the centenary, because of Ratafia Ruset was born in 1903, so it's today, a centenary family business. This special event was celebrated with many acts and two peculiars items: Special book edition and an unusual product, only for the sign “Ratafia del centenari” (Ratafia of the century), a special liquor with five years of ageing.

CAN JAPOT
since 1852, Can Japot is an artesian enterprise dedicated to elaborate stuff. The suitable climatic conditions of the Garrotxa region, the ancestral rites of the slaughter of pig, have been enough reason for birth of this industry.
Nowadays the products of Can Japot keep the flavour and the sliminess from the ancients’ sausages and hams.
